As a way to try and make use of my time driving back and forth to work I want to setup my mp3 player with recorded notes for the Natural Sciences CLEP exam. This means taking some time and recording the notes, which I haven’t done. Procrastination never brings anything good, and this time is no different. Because it is an hour drive each way, I’ve gotten frustrated with what I see as an hour I could be using to study…. So I’ve been reading while driving. Not a good idea for several reasons.
For one, I think that almost has to be illegal.. Although I think texting might be little more dangerous. I’m not pressing any buttons anyway. Maybe that’s what I’ll tell the officer. Secondly, I’m not driving on an interstate. It’s a windy back road that has deer all over the place. Finally, I usually only get 1-3 pages done anyway. Would it really be worth it to run off of the road for 1 page?
Moral of the story to myself: Don’t put stuff off! But I hope the voice notes work out. That would be a great use of 2 hours. Maybe I’ll get to recording those tonight.
Well, the ten minutes I assigned for this is up… (I had a couple distractions while writing this) Back to the reading!
